At that time, I was just beginning to learn the business, and I knew right away that this was the job for me. And now, looking
back, it's no surprise...
I have such fond memories from childhood, working in the garden by my father's side; planting flowers,
fruits, and vegetables. As spring passed into summer, I marveled at the daily progression of the seeds that we had put in the ground.
I
believe that this appreciation at the bounty the earth provides is the foundation of what I love to do...work
with flowers. They are to me like paint is to a painter, clay is to a sculptor, or the piano is to a musician.
Add to this, I
have the opportunity to be a part of the most important day in any couple's life...I find that personally exciting and rewarding.
